The Metro 2 was a first-run, single-screen theatre in San Francisco (and sister theatre to the Metropolitan, elsewhere in town). The Metro 2 was of the 10 other theaters besides the UA Westwood that had a general release of The Rocky Horror Picture Show in 1975. Part of the UA chain at the time, the Metro offered pre-sale tickets to stir up interest in the opening December 19, 1975.
