James Norman

James Norman was a cast member of A Jump to the Left circa 1990-1998 and The Rocky Horror Picture Show Official Fan Club representative for Tucson, Arizona during some of that period. He is known mostly for his contributions to the Rocky Horror music scene. James has mostly been inactive since the early 2000s but can be found time to time in Facebook group threads. He currently lives in Phoenix, Arizona as a software engineer.

1990-1998 Cast/Fan Club/Community events and contributions
- Active performing member as primarily Dr. Scott and also Brad Majors from 1990-1995
- 15th Anniversary trip: James helped bring the cast to national attention with a trip to the 15th Anniversary Convention in 1990.
- The Rocky Horror Picture Show Official Fan Club Representative: Served as a fan club representative from 1991-1994.
- Tucson AIDS Project benefit: James suggested, and James, Kate Pitroff and her husband Jon did most of the work for this benefit.
- Fox 1993 TV Special: Was a part of this, getting "stuck" with all the Brad underwear scenes. James and Verity Witzeman only made the final cut for a couple of brief seconds. They can also be seen in some of the DVD footage, though one would likely need a 90" TV screen to actually see their faces.
- Rocky Horror Sourcebook: Intended to be an extension of Sal's "Transylvania University," which provided suggestions to help casts put on a show, get publicity, etc. First a self-published book, and then later a set of HTML files on a 3.5" floppy and finally on the web. Link needed.
- Transylvanian Cafe - Created an early site that was much smaller than Cosmosfactory.org and focused on Fan Club news before the official website started publishing it. archived version - missing some graphics and most formatting
- 20th Anniversary Laserdisc: According to Sal Piro letters from James and David Shetterly helped form a lot of the feature set for the 20th Anniversary Laserdisc in the United States.
- Onstage participant, once again playing Brad Majors during the underwear scenes, at the Pantages Theatre in Los Angeles for the The Rocky Horror 20th Anniversary Celebration.
1999-Early 2000s
- Contributor to Rocky Horror fanzine Crazed Imaginations, including being the de-facto shipping department/layout person at times. Among other things, pointed out to editor Ruth Fink-Winter that she could still run it after moving to France for work instead of closing up shop, extending the fanzine's run.
- Contributor to RockyHorror.org/RockyPedia.org (sites by now both defunct). James argues his best contribution was introducing Christopher Ambler to Larry Viezel and Ruth Fink-Winter.

- VH1 Rocky Horror 25th Anniversary Karaoke special, dressed as Brad Majors placing in the top three of the costume contest.
