Adam Sargis
From RockyWiki
Adam Sargis was an early fan of The Rocky Horror Picture Show, based in Philadelphia. Sargis started The Rocky Horror International Fan Club, and published the 1979 newsletter Inside Insanity. Additionally, Sargis published three volumes of The Rocky Horror Official Poster Magazine, and Rocky Horror Picture Show Official Magazine, as well as marketing other early Rocky Horror memorabilia. He became the business manager and "chairman of the board" for The Rocky Horror Picture Show Official Fan Club and was involved with publishing The Transylvanian when the two fan groups merged in early 1980.
Sargis is remembered by early fans for creating The Entire Rocky Horror Picture Show, a legendary bootleg of the entire film on a 2-LP vinyl set in 1979, long before the film was available of home video and coinciding with the wide-spread reissue of The Rocky Horror Picture Show Original Soundtrack Album. Very primitive by today's standards, the second side of the bootleg was apparently recorded over a cassette tape of Led Zeppelin music, which is audible in parts of the transfer.
