1979 Inside Insanity newsletter, published by Adam Sargis
Adam Sargis was an early fan of The Rocky Horror Picture Show, based in Philadelphia. Sargis started the first International Rocky Horror Picture Show Fan Club, and published the 1979 newsletter Inside Insanity. Additionally, Sargis was responsible for distributing the three volumes of The Rocky Horror Poster Magazine and The Rocky Horror Picture Show Official Magazine in 1979. He became the business manager for the The Rocky Horror Picture Show Official Fan Club and was involved involved with publishing The Transylvanian when it went national.

Sargis is remembered by early fans for creating a legendary bootleg of the entire film on a 2-LP vinyl set in 1979, long before the film was available of home video and coinciding with the wide-spread reissue of The Rocky Horror Picture Show Original Soundtrack Album. Very primitive by today's standards, the second side of the bootleg was apparently recorded over a cassette tape of Led Zeppelin music, which is audible in parts of the transfer.
