Starfire first saw Rocky Horror in the summer of 1978 at the Laurel Theatre in San Carlos after spending a day promoting Star Wars (ie dress up with the Bay Area Science Fantasy Club and get in free) at the same theatre. She saw those huge lips on the screen and was hooked.

Performed at local SF&F conventions in the early 80s and attended (but didn't perform at) the Second Annual Transylvanian Convention in 1980. Early member of the Rocky Horror Fan Club, circa 1978-79.
Sold Rocky Horror buttons while dressed as Trixie at the UC Theatre at the management's invitation starting in 1980 and lasting a couple years (after the Lorenzo went to a once a week schedule; the Lorenzo and the UC showed Rocky on different nights).
