The Narrator is a character created by Richard O'Brien in the musical The Rocky Horror Show, The character was first portrayed by Jonathan Adams in the Original London Cast production. In the Roxy Cast production, the character was portrayed by Graham Jarvis. In The Rocky Horror Picture Show, the character is called The Criminologist and is portrayed by Charles Gray. In The Rocky Horror Picture Show: Let's Do the Time Warp Again, the character is called "The Narrator / Criminologist", and is portrayed by Tim Curry. The Narrator is based on British broadcaster and crime writer Edgar Lustgarten.
