I've loved Rocky since the first time I saw it...at the time I was dressed as Princess Leia for an appearance at Star Wars at the Laurel Theatre in San Carlos, CA, summer of 77 or 78. My group stayed one night to see the midnight show. Because I was in costume, I was sans glasses, which made it very surreal. Those lips! That music!

I promptly made a Magenta dress and started going to Rocky at the UC Theatre in Berkeley, CA. That was back when there wasn't a cast but rather a collection of people who dressed up and acted out their favourite parts; some groups were large, some were only one or two people.

(And we all Time Warped, of course!)

I still remember the pre-teen Columbia and a younger-than-me Magenta who tried to get the top of my dress to close more modestly. Who were you, Magenta and Columbia from 1978/79?
