The Sherman Theater was one of the pioneer Rocky Horror venues, starting Saturday midnight shows in early 1977. Located on Ventura Blvd in Sherman Oaks, CA, the theater was owned and operated by Landmark Theatres (then Parallex Theatres) who also ran L.A. theaters the Fox Venice Theater, the Nuart Theater and the Rialto (in Pasadena) and The Oriental Theater in Milwaukee, WI.
