Brody was born on October 25th, 1994 in Kentucky. Brody grew up in a small town in Kentucky in which he would play dress up and watch The Wizard of Oz. Everyone knew that Brody was different. In 2012 Brody attended a showing of Rocky Horror in Lexington. Him and his three friends had blast and knew that they would be up there one day. Then, the weekend after the showing he was approached by a director asking him to join the cast.

He did just that and Brody is now going on his 4th year with
The Master's Affairs and also obtained the role of Preshow Director/Oraganizer. He has also created a drag persona named Magie Mae Benson.

Magie Mae Benson
Brody's boyfriend loved watching RuPaul's Drag Race so one day he made him watch an episode. Brody knew what drag was but never really looked into it much, but now that he was in Rocky Horror he was more open minded to Drag. From the moment he watched that episode he was in love. He then started to dabble in the art of Drag. He played female characters in Rocky before, but he never really went full out in drag.

He would throw a dress and lipstick on and call it a day. He was evolving and knew that this is what he really likes to do and what makes him feel confident. After performing in full paint at Rocky Horror he knew he needed to start his career and give himself a name. He finally decided on Magie Mae Benson. Magie is taken from the classic movie starring Elizabeth Taylor "Cat on a Hot Tin Roof" her character's name was Margaret or Maggie for short. He took that as his first named and just shortened it to one G. The last name comes from the voice actress Jodi Benson who voices Ariel in "The Little Mermaid." Brody always loved Mermaids and he wanted to be one. So, he just saw it fitting to take Benson. You can now see Magie Mae Benson once a month with
The Master's Affairs doing lipsyncs and emceeing the show along with
