A Rocky Horror Legend is defined as a cast member, super-fan or Rocky Horror Elder whose name is well known within the community, regardless of location.
Any Boss Award recipient would be considered a Rocky Horror Legend, though many, like legendary performer Dori Hartley, have reached legend status without receiving awards.

Locations like New York's 8th Street Playhouse and Tiffany Theater on the Sunset Strip in Los Angeles are also considered Rocky Horror Legends for their historic place in establishing the cult of The Rocky Horror Picture Show.
