The Medusa is a device used in The Rocky Horror Picture Show, and The Rocky Horror Picture Show: Let's Do the Time Warp Again. The Medusa appears to be one of the functions of the Sonic Transducer. The function of the Medusa is to render anyone under it's power to become helpless or turned into stone. It has two settings, "Medusa" and "De-Medusa". A successful operation in either mode is indicated by the appearance of the flash of a Lightning Bolt.
