Pamela Obermeyer (aka Bethany Brown) worked with Jim Sharman when she appeared in his productions of both Hair and Jesus Christ Superstar in London, where she also met Richard O’Brien. She was one of several Transylvanians who knew and worked with one another in these stage productions and later ended up in The Rocky Horror Picture Show. In addition to her early stage work, Obermeyer was the singer in an English rock group called Truth.
Later known as Bethany Brown, she worked with her husband for many years writing songs and doing stage work.
