The Perks Of Being A Wallflower is a popular 1999 novel about a socially-awkward teen written by Stephen Chbosky. The story features prominent references to The Rocky Horror Picture Show and Audience Participation. In 2012, Chbosky adapted the semi-autobiographical novel for a major motion picture starring Logan Lerman and Emma Watson in the principal roles.
