Terry de Havilland (March 21, 1938 – November 27, 2019) was an English shoe designer known as "the Rock 'n' Roll Cobbler" who created the fabulous footwear worn by Tim Curry in The Rocky Horror Picture Show. He began designing shoes with snakeskin, glitter, plastics and other unusual fabrics in the late 1960s, and quickly became sought out by rock stars and other high-profile clientele for his designs based in classic but sexy footwear. David Bowie, Bianca Jagger and Jackie Onassis were amongst his famous patrons.
He passed away on November 29, 2019 at the age of 81.
