Hello! My name is Jennifer Finney, but everyone in the Rocky Horror community knows me as MISTRESS. My pronouns are she/ her. I'm the director of this group, and I'm FUCKING EXCITED! I've been shadowcasting Rocky since Halloween 2007, so I'll be celebrating my 16th anniversary on our show date! I'm also turning 50, 2 weeks before, so this show, for me, is to show the world that you're never too old to do this. This cast marks the 3rd cast I've directed (Painted Perversion and Glorious Garters being the other 2) and I've been a part of 3 other different casts. My home cast at the present is MiRHPS (Michigan Rocky Horror Preservation Society in Wayne, Mi.), and we perform every 2nd and 4th Saturday of the month. I also very much enjoy going to other casts and playing outside my sandbox. A few of those casts are represented here! I have played every character as a shadowcaster, but Frank and Janet and Brad are who I do the best. I also played Frank n Furter in the 2010 Chelsea Area Players production of The Rocky Horror Show. Besides Rocky, I'm on the board of ActII, which is Albions newest community theater group. They helped facilitate this happening, so make sure to help support their other projects! I also do musical/other theater as much as I'm able. Personally, I'm married, the mother of 2 (one you will meet, as they are a Transylvanian) and my first grandchild is due to be born any day now! I clean houses and businesses freelance for a living. So. Now you know about me....but I want to learn about you! Please introduce yourself This is a safe space, so don't feel like you can't be your true self here. Rocky is the home of misfits and weirdos, and we like it that way. You are loved just the way you are I'm excited to learn about you all!

1. What was your first Rocky Horror experience? I remember as a child, my father was flipping through the channel and stopped right before Frank did his reveal. My mom walked in just as that happened, and said, “David, turn that crap off!” So, naturally, I wanted to know more. But that didn’t happen until later in life.

2. What made you get involved in MIRHPS? The Michigan Theater was having auditions for a shadow cast, and my good friend Kim came to my house and dragged me there. I got the part of Frank.

3. Favorite costume piece? My SweetT corset. Faith gave it to me as a present.

4. Besides Rocky, What other hobbies do you have? Musical theater, sewing, cross-stitch, knitting, crocheting, cooking.

5. What is/are your top favorite character(s) to play? Frank, Janet, and Mags in that order.

6. What does your ideal Sunday look like? Sunday is my only day off, and is Family Day at my house. My ideal family day would be spent with both of my children, and now my grandchild.

7. How do you relax? I relax with a long scorching bath and music.

8. What kind of movies do you like? I enjoy a lot of films, but science fiction is my favorite. I love all Star Trek/Wars films.

9. Top Favorite MiRHPS Theme Show(s)? I loved puppets and tiny props, and I also love Cast in a Hat.

10. One thing you couldn’t live without? My children.
