The Vista Theatre was one of the few venues to exhibit Shock Treatment during the films initial release beginning October 30, 1981. Operated by Landmark Theatres at the time,
the film ran as a midnight-only feature on Friday and Saturday nights for a few weeks to tepid response, closing by the end of the year.
